Our Ideal Day on Kiawah

Follow our lead on the perfect way to spend a day on this special island.

Start by walking, biking, or kayaking your way around the island in the morning light. Rent bikes from Kiawah and cruise along the island via bike paths or beach - we recommend a beach bike ride at low tide!

Head to Freshfields Village and grab provisions for the day. We like picking up sandwiches and Frose from the Co-Op or snacks from Cafe Eugenia - think chicken salad, pimento cheese, fresh pastries, and a bottle of Sancerre! Holly never goes to Freshfields without checking out her favorite stores - The Showroom, Blue Mercury, and GDC Home for some shopping

Spend your afternoon at the beach - dip in the ocean and feel the warm sand under your toes with a B-Liner (or two) from the Beach Club (members-only).

When we’re looking for a more active afternoon, we love playing golf at one of the seven courses located on Kiawah Island, or playing pickleball and tennis at Roy Barth Tennis Center. Chase gets the upper hand during golf, but Holly has a mean backhand on the courts.
